The Tweed Coast South Lions Club was chartered on the 15th February 2011 with 23 members from various occupations such as butchers, nurses, fisherman, bank managers and of course retirees.
The Tweed Coast is situated south of the Gold Coast and north of Byron Bay, there are plenty of recreational things to do such as fishing, swimming, surfing in all phases and bush walking trails in the valleys west of the coast.
